THE DOUBLE

The Tayēr_Double is based off the original station in Tayēr + Elementary in London. It is an island bar design that is meant to be worked on by two bartenders facing one another.  

It has a large sink with strainers and two glass rinsers for each bartender, one large kitchen style faucet to help with cleaning and two smaller faucets to use during shift. Under the sink, on either side, is a garbage drawer with two stainless steel bins. Beside the sink is the large Tayēr well with all the inserts, the well is insulated and drained, and comes pre-plumbed to the central connection under the sink. This well is the working surface and storage for all ice, bottles, garnish, etc.  Underneath the well each bartender has access to a Tayēr Dual Temp. Cooler.

The Tayēr_Single is intended for a single bartender. It was designed to be used like a more traditional bar station - it can be placed under a guest top, or a guest top can be placed around it for a more contemporary flushed style bar top. 

It has a sink at one end, with a large water faucet, glass rinser and sink strainer. Underneath the sink is a garbage drawer with 2x stainless steel bins. Beside the sink is the insulated Tayēr well. This well is smaller than the Tayēr_Double, but still offers the same functionality. Directly beneath the well is a Tayēr Dual Temp. Cooler.

The Tayēr’s signature hexagon inserts allow for complete freedom to configure the workspace for the specific needs of the moment.  The hexagons fit together to form a single, drained, worktop or can be flipped to make compartments for bottle and tool storage, or removed altogether to create neutral space for ice.

The system is built on full hexagon and half hexagon inserts. These hexagon make up the base of the working area. The smaller inserts, triangles and diamonds, can be rearranged within the hexagon to give the ultimate flexible station.
